Netflix Update: All Star Trek TV Series To Begin Streaming In July

In February we reported that CBS and Netflix had cut a deal to begin streaming a number of CBS series, including all of the Star Trek TV shows. Some CBS shows have begun to appear on streaming, so TrekMovie checked with Netflix get an update on the Star Trek roll-out, see below for exclusive details.  



Jeri Ryan: Chakotay/Seven relationship "came out of the blue" + New ABC Show Starts Strong

This week Star Trek Voyager’s Jeri Ryan returned to series television as part of the cast of ABC’s medical examiner show Body of Proof, which started off with strong ratings. While promoting the show, the Seven of Nine actress also talked a bit of Star Trek, including Voyager’s controversial pairing of Seven and Chakotay. Excerpts below.

Chris Pine Wins LA Drama Award + Beltran To Star In New LA Play

Last summer, Star Trek’s new Captain Kirk, Chris Pine got rave reviews for his stage work in the dark satire "The Lieutenant of Inishmore". Last night Pine won an LA Drama Circle Award for the play, and he was joined at the event by his father (a fellow Trek vet) who also won an award. Rick Berman Writing Star Trek Memoir + Talks Roddenberry, DS9, VOY & ENT

Former Star Trek overlord Rick Berman has revealed that he at work on a previously promised memoir of his two decades with the Star Trek franchise. In a new interview, the ex-producer also talks about taking over producing Star Trek: The Next Generation from Gene Roddenberry, as well as creating Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise.
