Last night on the Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert decided to call up producer/director JJ Abrams and talk about some prayer day thing. But eventually the two got around to talking about Star Trek where Colbert mentioned reports the film will be a prequel to the original series and lobbied JJ for a role as Dr. McCoy. Colbert gets prayer day advice from Abrams + lobbies for McCoy part in Star Trek movie
Stephen Colbert has been put on the MasterMedia Int’l Media Leader Prayer Calendar. Each day a different figure in the media is listed for thousands to pray for. JJ Abrams was also on the list and Stephen decided to call JJ to find out how his prayer day went. They also talked about Lost and Colbert made his pitch for a part in a certain Abrams movie. …by the way, did JJ just confirm for the first time publicly that his Star Trek film will be a prequel?
