More Details On Alternative Version of ‘Where No Man Has Gone Before’ In TOS Season 3 Blu-ray Set

2009 has been the one of the best years ever for Star Trek on home video, with the next release being the the 2009 Star Trek movie on Blu-ray and DVD next week. However, the final release of the year will be Star Trek The Original Series on Blu-ray, coming December 15th. Today we have more details on the unaired version of the "Where No Man Has Gone Before" pilot, which is a key special feature of the set. 


City of Boston Declares November 14th ‘Leonard Nimoy Day’?

The original Spock (aka ‘Spock Prime’), Leonard Nimoy is returning to his home town of Boston this weekend to attend The New England Fan Experience. And Boston is so proud of their native son, that they are declaring Saturday (November 14th) "Leonard Nimoy Day". We have the text of the proclamation below, plus some new comments from the actor.

Abrams & Lindelof Not Working On Dark Tower Adaptation

Back in early 2007 one of the possible projects being touted as JJ Abrams next directorial efforts was an adaptation of Stephen King’s "Dark Tower" series. At the time Abrams and fellow Star Trek producer Damon Lindelof confirmed they were working with King on an adaptation. However, now Abrams has stated that this big project still isn’t something imminent.

William Shatner Unveils Wax Figure Of Kirk – Says He Wants To Be In Star Trek Sequel

We already knew that William Shatner’s Kirk is immortal, but now Kirk has been immortalized, in wax. Today Madame Tussaud’s in Hollywood unveiled its wax figure of James T.
