A lot of words have been used to describe the Star Trek villain Khan Noonien Singh, and now you can add ‘cuddly’. In order to celebrate the first Khan comic book (coming in October), IDW Publishing will release a special Khan plush doll. Details below.

In order to celebrate the October release of the "Khan: Ruling in Hell" comic book (see TrekMovie’s exclusive preview), IDW Publishing has commissioned a very special Khan collectible: The exclusive Khan plush doll. According to IDW, the Khan plush "captures the vengeful tyrant, complete with mysterious black glove. The Khan plush will be released in time for the new Khan comic in October. Fans interested in the plush should contact their local comic store retailer, or visit www.comicshoplocator.com.

Naturally, when I think of “Khan,” I immediately associate him with a plush doll!
Or maybe not.
But, in the style of that other “Star” franchise, this may broaden the fan base, which is a good thing. Young fans are more likely to grow into older ones.
