Good for him.
Maybe he won’t have to write a memoir called “I Am Also Not Spock” twenty years from now. : D

Im stoked ! I cant wait to see it . There’s an awesome cast , good storyline and Zachary Quinto both in it and co- produce it ! ABSOLUTE MUST SEE ! And again CONGRATS! Much love !

That’s a hell of a cast — count me in as interested.

Quinto, you are doing the right thing. Stay away from Trek as long as you can, or you will be Spock forever.

Nah, would never happen, Spock is Nimoy, not Quinto no matter what.
I hope this film will do more than well so all the nagging on Quinto’s imdb board will stop. I can’t believe some of those fans there, do nothing but complain. Hopefully Mr. Quinto know better than read that board. You go dude :)

Good for him but he’s not the only Star Trek cast member to have a movie at Sundance. Bruce Greenwood’s movie “Meek’s Cutoff ” will be shown there too.

CONGRATS to both actors.

@1

Leonard Nimoy had did a lot of movies, television shows, and plays before and after his role as Spock. The people just chose to ignore that which prompted him to write his books.

The same thing can very much happen to Quinto even though a lot of us don’t want it to happen.

Can we get some proper English written here in the talkbacks?

I mean, what is our thread system churning out these days?

It is so ubercool that Quinto is being featured in a co-producer’s role as well as a starring role. I CANNOT WAIT to see the results of this project.

As far as I know Zach is very grateful to be in Star Trek as Young Spock! …. and he’s a smart guy and talented to be followed in other ways, too! … so .. GREAT ZQ!

@6 Actually, “Like Crazy” which stars Anton Yelchin will be one of the films screen as part of the competition part at Sundance. . .Star Trek actors: represent!

I’d go see him in a muppet movie! Good luck to him!

Looks interesting. I’m very curious how writer-director J.C. Chandor handles something as complex as the 2008 financial crisis.

Is that the1989 financial crisis, or 2008? Judging by ZQ’s tie, it’s tough to be sure. In any case, it sounds like it’s worth catching.

Good luck to all!

Congratulations and good luck Mr Quinto.

Looks like it could be good. Depending on how preachy they are. Quinto is a good actor. And I think he’ll be remembered more for Sylar than Spock.

Sounds interesting.
But with a cast that includes Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto, Demi Moore, and Stanley Tucci… this seems to stretch the definition of a “independent” film.

lol this is a really stupid thought but he looks so cute with that little blue pen in his mouth
