A California preacher had the world abuzz with a prophesy that today (May 21st) was to be the end of the world, starting with rolling earthquakes across the planet. Armageddon hasn’t happened, making today his second inaccurate rapture prediction. STO Update: New Fighter Ships + Season 4 Details

While there has been some concern regarding the sale of Cryptic announced earlier this week, the Star Trek Online game developers continue to move forward with new additions to the game. This week they added new fighters, check out a video feature on those below. Plus STO’s Executive Producer has outlined plans for July’s Season 4 and offered more encouragement about the future of the game.   










William Shatner’s “The Captains” To Premiere On EPIX In July w/ “Shatnerpalooza” Marathon

We now have a date and a place for when we will be able to see William Shatner’s The Captains. The documentary about the various Star Trek captains will premiere on the EPIX channel (and online) on July 21st. EPIX is also planning a "Shatnerpalooza" of programming including six Star Trek films, classic Shatner movies, the Gonzo Ballet and more. Details below.







New Trailers For JJ Abrams Alcatraz & Brannon Braga’s Terra Nova + Fox Announces Schedule

Fox is making Monday into time-travel night for their next season, with two shows produced by Star Trek vets. Today Fox Broadcasting announced their full schedule for the 2011/2012 season along with releasing trailers for their new shows, including JJ Abrams’ Alcatraz and Brannon Braga’s Terra Nova.
