On the casting of Mulgrew Kenney says "I remember loving when they cast a female captain…and have found her work incredibly deep, thoughtful and compelling to watch. I’m thrilled to have her play a character who will play such an important overall role in our series."

Wow! This is great news and a great opportunity for these 3 solid performers to be seen again in genre material by us fan boys & girls!

If Mr Nimoy thinks of retiring again, I think René would do a nice alt Bell character

@OLLEY: And now I’m thinking about what sort of role Nimoy could play on W13…

nice use of “…” to blot out Jack Kenny saying Janeway was captain of the Enterprise :P

Jeri Ryan’s character is a major in the Marines so I’m guessing since Eddie McClintock’s character was a Marine that’s who she shares the connection with.. actually iirc she said she was somebody’s ex-wife…

So excited for this.

YEA!!! I kinda thought ol’ Hugo Miller would be back. He was WAY interesting. Can’t wait for Mulgrew as a recurring character!

Since they killed off Janeway in the books, I’m “missing” her there as well.

You know, “Heroes” did the same kind of stunt “casting” “Warehouse 13” is doing now, and look what happened.

Just sayin’.

yeah, but Heroes did it out of desperation because it was starting to suck. Warehouse 13 is doing it intelligently out of respect to the actors, and out as a treat for scifi fans. Plus, Warehouse 13 is still getting good ratings ;) I think they will be okay.

Warehouse 13 has been syfy’s best show each season so I think it’s here to stay.

I was a loyal Heroes fan (season 3 was the best) but season 4 showed they were getting a little burnt out, good concepts but the execution wasn’t what it used to be. Claire should have been killed off, she got boring. Wish it’d had a chance to wrap-up properly.

Warehouse is a cool show!

I was debating whether to get into W13 or Eureka next and it looks like this has answered that question. :D

@10 Chelsea, why can’t you watch both? They are good shows and there are alot of worse things you could watch..

and they’re both in the same universe
