Earlier today Paramount took their Star Trek Into Darkness promotional tour to London where Brit stars Alice Eve and Bendedict Cumberbatch previewed the movie prologue and had a Q&A with the press, joined by producer Bryan Burk. There were some new details revealed, including a target run time for the movie and more information about Eve and Cumberbatch’s characters. Star Trek Into Darkness director JJ Abrams isn’t spilling all the beans but he did a video interview where he talked a bit about the villain in his new film and his motivation. Neil deGrasse Tyson has taken his hit podcast show, Star Talk Live, on the road. Season 2 of Star Trek: The Next Generation was released on Blu-ray yesterday and the set includes an extended version of "Measure of a Man," one of Trek’s most memorable episodes. In a new interview Sir Patrick Stewart talks about how that is one of the few early TNG episodes he can even remember. He also talks about show’s attempts at romance with Picard. Excerpts below.
