New Image Shows JJ Abrams On Different Bridge + Analysis Of The Other ‘Into Darkness’ Ship

More images from the recent Empire magazine cover story on Star Trek Into Darkness have emerged. Mostly they are things variations of things seen before but there is one image of director JJ Abrams with a clear view of the bridge on a ship different than the USS Enterprise. Ads Supporting NASA To Run With Screenings Of Star Trek Into Darkness

The worlds of Star Trek and real space exploration have been intertwined since the show began in the 1960s during the space race. And the tradition will continue with the release of Star Trek Into Darkness thanks to a privately crowdfunded campaign to air PSAs at screenings of the new Trek movie which will promote more NASA funding.  



Star Trek Game Rematches William Shatner and The Gorn + UPDATE: New ‘Vulcan Reborn’ Promo Game

The new Star Trek co-op game (for PC, PS3 and Xbox360) is has Kirk and Spock from the new universe trying to save a Vulcan colony from an invasion of the Gorn. And Paramount has released a new video promo of the game featuring William Shatner and a TOS Gorn re-enacting the classic fight scene from "Arena." Check it out below. New ‘Legacy of Romulus’ Expansion Coming To Star Trek Online May 21 – Watch Trailer + Screenshots

Today Perfect World and Cryptic announced a major expansion to Star Trek Online, the massive multiplayer game set in Star Trek’s 25th century. In May they will launch "Star Trek Online: Legacy of Romulus" – a new expansion that adds the Romulans as a third playable faction for the game. More info, screenshots and a trailer below.

Burk Talks Bigger Movie, Budgets, 3D, Roddenberry Vision & More At Star Trek Into Darkness Moscow Event

As we have been reporting, Star Trek Into Darkness producer Bryan Burk has been on a global tour showing footage of the movie at special preview events for industry and press professionals. TrekMovie first broke the news that a new longer Star Trek Into Darkness trailer was coming with G.I. Joe: Retaliation, which opens next week.
