Quinto: Not Confident Enough (Yet) To Direct Star Trek – Talks About Trek Cast’s Future After 2016

Zachary Quinto has talked much about how he and Leonard Nimoy bonded during the making of the 2009 Star Trek movie, however he doesn’t appear ready to follow the original Spock to Trek director’s chair. Patrick Stewart Joins Star Trek: TNG Reunions In Chicago and London – To Be Moderated By Shatner

Just announced today, Sir Patrick Stewart has signed on to appear at Chicago Comic Con on August 24th – completing their line-up for a full Star Trek: The Next Generation reunion. Even better it will be moderated by William Shatner. And Stewart has also signed on for a TNG reunion at the London Star Trek Destination con in October – also moderated by Shatner. Details below.


Star Trek Online Season 9.5 Now Live – TrekMovie Talks To Cryptic About New Crafting System, Uniforms & More

‘Star Trek Live In Concert’ With Giacchino This Wkd In Houston + Next Wkd At SDCC + More Cities

This weekend composer Michael Giacchino brings his “Star Trek Live in Concert” screenings of Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness with a full orchestra to the USA, performing with the Houston Symphony. Ever want to name your own planet? Soon, the general public will get the chance to vote on names submitted by public astronomical organizations for 305 hand-picked exoplanets, officially giving the first popular names to worlds outside of the Solar System. No, this isn’t one of those pay-money-to-name-a-star scams. The NameExoWorlds project has been put together by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), the official and only body that can give names to celestial objects, in partnership with Zooniverse, home of some of the most successful citizen science campaigns.
