First Look At July Star Trek Comics From IDW

JULY 2017 STAR TREK COMICS FROM IDW

IDW announced their July 2017 comics solicitations this morning and they include three new Star Trek titles: the 10th issue of the ongoing Star Trek: Boldly Go Kelvin-universe series, the third issue of Star Trek: The Next Generation – Mirror Broken series and the sixth issue of Star Trek: Waypoint, with two original Star Trek series short stories. There are also some new comics collections being released in July.

Star Trek: Boldly Go #10 – 32 pages • $3.99

Scotty returns to the Yorktown base to check in on construction of the new Enterprise… only to find that building the flagship comes with unexpected perils!

I guess I’m out of the loop about the TNG/DS9 mirror universe story..I’ll just have to read it, but I thought the Klingon/Cardassian alliance was in charge after the fall of the Terran Empire, at least according to DS9 TV. So how is this possible in the TNG mirror universe?
