Does the fact there’s a Kirk puppet mean Shatner will be in it, even if only a voice?

It’s sort of disappointing that the usual suspects are missing, when everyone else is there …

Curious Cadet,

Curiously, almost the same thought I had when I read what Paramount had Deadline float:

http://deadline.com/2018/01/cbs-viacom-merger-combined-company-1202270428/

Based on the poster I would guess that Gilbert Gottfried will voice the Kirk puppet.

The trailer on the IMDB page implies that he plays a villain, possibly the ruler of a military dictatorship.

Just watched the trailer and this looks like the most unfunny god-awful piece of ****. Makes The Orville look like 2001: A Space Odyssey (I love The Orville btw).

What trailer? I searched YouTube Unbelievable film 2018 and found zip

PS Maybe we have to be high to watch it?

I saw it. We need to be VERY high to watch it.

I tried to post a link earlier but it’s disappeared into the ether.
Look at the movie’s IMDB page for the trailer.

Yeah its on IMDB. I saw the trailer and unfortunately I can’t UNsee it! I mean its just baaaaad. Not funny, silly bad like I imagine it was intended, I mean just bad period. What were they thinking? And what’s crazy when they show all the names at the end and there so many Trek actors in this from literally every show and you think WHY??? Or HOW??? How did these people manage to get so many of them? It can’t just be the money because looking at that god awful trailer there was hardly any money to make this thing. Or maybe that what happened, all the budget went to the actors and the change they had left over after paying them went to the production.

I’m in shock just wow just WOW

Uh, yeah. Speechless.

You lost me at “Snoop Dogg”
Frakkin’ ridiculous.

Sta-ar Trek! FeckYeah!

I wonder if Snoop fires up a blunt and watches Trek, and which is his favorite Trek. Probably psychedelic ’60s TOS.
