Social media buzz
Y’all, there are many reasons I think Ep 14 is tremendously powerful, emotional, and thought-provoking, but I gotta say, having @ActressJayneB back and badass as ever is right at the top of that list. And when it comes to humans, I think L’Rell would have to agree. #CornRell pic.twitter.com/jtcEesAsY7

What say you?
TrekMovie will be posting a full review of “The War Without, the War Within” later. But you don’t have to wait to offer your views in the comments below.
But the Patriots are gonna win tonight…
Go E-A-G-L-E-S! Make it So!
StarTrek > Sport.
I was hoping Saru was going to get an official promotion to captain of Discovery, that one photo makes that seem less likely.
ALL HAIL CAPTAIN GERGIOU!
Super Bowl tonight, catch this tomorrow.
Super Bowl is rigged…
Go Starfleet! UFP! UFP! UFP!
Should be a good night. Superbowl, beer, friends, then star trek.
Cornwell looks quite uncomfortable in the big chair- should stick to probing Lorca’s inner pain. Burnham and Saru will fix whatever mess she makes. Flag officers taking over the hero ship never turns out well, except for Wrath of Khan.
Even then, if the flag officer had followed the rules and raised those damned shields, a lot of lives could have been saved…
LOL well that turned out to be completely wrong in every crazy way possible.
Why is the Dear White People on after Trek?
They want their mix. You know, vision for a hopeful future for humanity followed by divisive cancer. This is why I thumbs downed DWP on Netflix with a quickness. There’s enough real cancer in my family to worry about social cancer.
Haven’t tried watching DWP, yet. What exactly do you mean by it being a “social cancer”? And what does that have to do with “real cancer”? How much of DWP did you watch?
There’s certainly a fair amount of it in your thinking. Funny–I’d be willing to bet that I’m a whiter shade of Caucasian than you are, yet don’t find the mere existence of a show called “Dear White People” to be personally threatening, let alone divisive. But some just can’t resist playing the victim card, I guess, even if their victimhood be more imagined than real.
Its the same folks who thought that a movement protesting how (some) police officers killed unarmed black men was an attack on their freedoms. Sigh.
I’m sorry that your family has had to fight through the awful experience of cancer. But that makes your petty offense at a Netflix show that doesn’t concern you all the more baffling . . and your analogies all the more bizarre. If you’ve experienced the pain of cancer, you shouldn’t make such careless comparisons from it to a harmless TV show.
I LOVE THIS SHOW THANK YOU 🖖

This complicates Michael’s journey to redemption. Is this captain her captain?
What is Sarek’s role?
This episode is a gripping drama as much about intergenerational connections and fealty as about science-fiction. And it’s terrific!
We all have parents. We all have parental figures. As much as we would like to think that the future is limitless, we are bound to the past.
Destiny only gets you so far.
What a great episode, to have Georgiou back as captain to plant spores and to go in the Klingons home world through the caves !!!! Can’t wait for the next episode
Hurrah to the writers of this saga
The klingons are blue why is that when i see klingons on on star trek they are not blue ps think,s still a good show i love it
