Star Trek Online recently announced the fourth major expansion for the PC version of the game, Victory is Life. This new update celebrates the anniversary of Deep Space Nine by reuniting a dozen of the show’s original cast members to reprise their roles in the game, including Armin Shimerman (Quark), René Auberjonois (Odo), Nana Visitor (Kira) and many more. Victory is Life also introduces a new playable Jem’Hadar playable faction, increased level cap, new battlezone and added progression system.
Win a Tactical Escort Retrofit or Stalker Stealth Fighter
STO PC players can play the new expansion starting in June. But, if you can’t wait until then for some DS9-inspired gameplay, try your hand at winning one of the two awesome ships we are giving away, courtesy of Cryptic and Perfect World Entertainment! 25 FIRST PRIZE winners will get a code to unlock the Tactical Escort Retrofit and 100 RUNNER UP winners will get a code to redeem the Stalker Stealth Fighter (both ships are available to Starfleet Captains on PC only).
Tactical Escort Retrofit
The Tactical Escort Retrofit was declared a new type of warship created to fight the Borg but was later revived to fight the Dominion War. Starfleet updated the vessel with the latest equipment available in the early 25th Century, including a universal cloaking device.
Stalker Stealth Fighter
The Stalker Stealth Fighter is lightly armed, fast and maneuverable. The ship’s energy signature is low, making it hard to detect at long distance until it attacks.
How To Win
To win one of 25 codes for a Tactical Escort Retrofit or one of 100 codes for the Stalker Stealth Fighter, head on over to the TrekMovie.com Facebook post about this contest, like it, and comment telling us why the Tactical Escort Retrofit makes one tough little ship. Be sure to also like the TrekMovie.com Facebook page, so that we can get in touch if you are a winner! TrekMovie staff will review the entries and notify winners starting Wednesday, May 2nd.
Would be amazing but I have nowhere to park it.
I wish the tactical refit came with the Defiant bridge as well like the Pathfinder pack. Had to choose between the ship and the bridge and I went with the ship.
I wish STO wasn’t so darn confusing! I’ve played it a few hours, but really have no idea what I’m doing.
what portion are you at right now? Happy to help if I can
I might take you up on that! Thanks!
I finished the tutorial (?) linked scenarios, and made it to the hub (star base). I went back out in my ship to do something and… lost interest,
And I would have given my ears for a game like this as a kid…!
