Eaglemoss, famous for their multiple lines of Star Trek ship models, has a whole lot to unveil at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con taking place next week. Star Trek fans will be able to add to their collections in addition to getting some first looks at products never seen before, that are slated to come out later this year.
Discovery-era Ships
Eaglemoss is already gearing up for Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 with a preview of two soon-to-be released ships from the official Discovery Starships Collection. First up is the U.S.S. Europa NCC-1648. Besides the Discovery herself, this was one of the first ships we saw from the new series, when it was unveiled in an early trailer for the show. The second ship is a Discovery-era Vulcan Cruiser, one of the few Vulcan designs seen so far in the series.
Upcoming XL Edition Ships
On display, but not yet available for purchase, will be a pair of XL Edition ships: the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B as seen in Star Trek: Generations and the Miranda-class U.S.S. Reliant. Those ships are set to come out for purchase by the end of 2018. Fans will also be among the first to see two recently released XL ships, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-A and the U.S.S. Defiant NX-74205.
Special Bonus Ships
Eaglemoss will also be showing off a couple of new Bonus ships from the original Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection. The first is Rick Sternbach’s U.S.S. Voyager concept ship, which was the original but unused design. The second is the Klingon Bird-of-Prey in the Landing Posision.
All New Star Trek Collector’s Busts
Eaglemoss recently announced the release of a series of official Star Trek busts. The entire collection is brand new and features iconic characters from the show’s over 50 year history. The busts are hand-painted polyresin and stand 4.5 to 6″ tall and come with a fact-filled magazine. The four fan favorites will be on display at SDCC: Kirk, Spock, Worf, and Data.

I’m impressed they almost got Shatner’s likeness. Kirk’s a notoriously difficult bust/figure sculpt.
I actually thought it looked more like Chris Pratt than Shatner.
I think it’s just that Chris Pratt has a certain amount of Shatnerness to him.
I’ll buy the Discovery version of 1701, way better looking than the JJ-Prise.
I’d love a Sisko one… pondering something (probably killing Borg) with his baseball in hand.
I kind of like the Eaglemoss ships. Does anyone collect these? Never seen one up close. Seems like a lot of money for a small model.
