Tomorrow IDW releases their second Star Trek: Discovery special annual issue. This year’s Discovery annual focuses on the character of Saru and takes place after the events of the first season but before the arrival of the USS Enterprise. Like all Discovery comics, it was written by comics veteran Mike Johnson and Star Trek: Discovery writer Kirsten Beyer. The prestige-format one-shot comic is 52 pages long and has art from Angel Hernandez.
