Life under quarantine has spawned a new wave of virtual events, moving fan convention experiences online. We have already seen a number of these in April and May featuring Star Trek stars, and more of these live events are being announced. We have summarized the Trek-related events coming up in May below.
Kate Mulgrew and Robert Picardo – Saturday, May 16
Star Trek: Voyager stars Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway) and Robert Picardo (The Doctor) will be joining the Gaaays in Spaaace Equality Celebration Tour on Saturday, May 16 at 8 PM Eastern (5 PM Pacific). The virtual event will include live musical performances, fan chats, and a Q&A with Mulgrew and Picardo. The event will be conducted using Zoom and requires a donation of at least $1 to get in. Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com.
Connor Trinneer and Dominic Keating – Saturday, May 16
Star Trek: Enterprise stars Connor Trinneer (Trip Tucker) and Dominic Keating (Malcolm Reed) are featured in this weekend’s Creation Entertainment Virtual Fan Experience, doing a live panel and Q&A. The panel is on Saturday, May 16th at 1:15 PM ET (10:15 AM PT). The live event uses StageIt, with tickets priced as “pay what you can.” They will both also be doing a limited meet and greet on May 21st, with 10 slots being auctioned off. William Shatner – Saturday, May 23
Star Trek’s William Shatner (Captain Kirk) will join GalaxyCon Live for an exclusive Live Stream Q&A on Saturday, May 23rd at 12pm EST/9am.
