Klingon Week: Join Virtual Events With Michael Dorn, J.G. Hertzler, Robert O’Reilly, Mary Chieffo, And More

Our update on Star Trek virtual events of the week has a noticeable Klingon theme, plus a bit of Shatner and more.

Wednesday, July 8: Michael Dorn Masterclass

Last week they had Jonathan Frakes, and this week Dramaversity is offering another Star Trek-themed Masterclass. The one-night only hour-long class with Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine star Michael Dorn will feature him sharing his experiences as an actor and director and offer fans and acting students the chance to ask Michael questions. Thursday, July 9: GalaxyCon Klingons panel

GalaxyCon Live continues its virtual summer series with two different Star Trek events this week, each including the usual free panel along with the opportunity to buy group or one-on-one chats with the celebrities. They are also offering signed autographs and personalized video recordings. This Thursday brings a Klingon theme with actors J.G. Hertzler (Martok) and Robert O’Reilly (Gowron). Saturday, July 11th: Shatner!

Saturday, July 11: STO’s  Day of Honor

On July 11th Cryptic is promoting Star Trek Online’s latest release focusing on Klingons at an online streaming event called Day of Honor. The all-day event features a number of Star Trek stars and behind-the-scenes experts including Star Trek: Discovery’s Mary Chieffo, Kenneth Mitchell, Jayne Brook, and David Benjamin Tomlinson. Day of Honor will be streamed live on the Queue Times Twitch channel. More information at arcgames.com.

Friday, July 10 – Sunday, July 12: Virtual Shore Leave

The annual Shore Leave convention in Maryland has gone online with Shore Leave 41.5 – The Virtual Experience, which features science presentations and author panels as well as a virtual costume contest. The full schedule has been posted and includes panels on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Picard.
