Amazon Offering Free Collection Of Digital Comics When You Buy Star Trek DVDs And Blu-rays

CBS, Paramount, Amazon, and IDW Publishing are teaming up for a month-long Star Trek promotion starting today. For the month of November fans will receive three free digital Star Trek comics from IDW Publishing through Amazon’s comiXology when they spend $25 or more on select Star Trek products on Amazon.com.

The digital Star Trek comics are:

  • Star Trek: Picard – Countdown #1 – Witness the events leading to CBS All Access’s Star Trek: Picard. Before he retired to his vineyard, Jean-Luc Picard was the most decorated admiral in Starfleet, then one mission changed his life forever.
  • Star Trek: Year Five #1 – Step aboard the U.S.S. The first comic books in three series of comics? Better than nothing, but too bad none of those comics is a complete story. It is a little enticing though as I’ve been tempted to get bluray of Picard.
