I would definitely buy this, if they show the whole season in one big fat episode! :P

Why are they putting seatbelts on couches this summer? Stardate: July 2021

Like the steelbook design.

Same, it’s really sleek!

Will the dvd have the same features as the blu-ray? I know they sometimes don’t,but hoping this one does.

I just want to watch That Hope Is You Part 1 & Part 2 and skip all the crap inbetween

When is the digital release? I’ve got season 1 and 2 of Discovery and Picard season 1, i rarely buy physical releases anymore and no i don’t do subscription services. If the wait is significant i may just get the blu ray.

Anything on a 4k blu ray release?

I don’t believe any of the shows were released in 4K. Unfortunately, television hasn’t really made that jump quite yet. But the next film (whenever that may release) will likely be released in 4K.

With that said, I have watched past blu-ray releases on a 4K TV and I think they still look spectacular :)

They aren’t filming or finishing in 4K at this moment, according to all the available public info which is limited. I’ve only being able to find out what the resolution for Picard and Disco season 1 was, neither were 4K. Disco Season 1 was 2.8K raw format and Picard was 3.4k. Both appear to have been finished at 2K res. But i’ve only been able to confirm that for Picard from the IMDB.

The HDR versions appear to be 2K masters. Of course these shows are filmed digitally on the Arri system ARRI Alexa and ARRI Mini.

I don’t see any mention of languages or subtitles… if the current trend continues (like the short treks and picard season 1 blu rays), tehy will not have any spanish language and/or subtitles… wish I knew why !!!!
Also, in Amazon Lower decks appear as pre sale, but Discovery season 3 appears as out of stock with no further information
