Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (briefly) returning to the big screen, and fresh shiny new Star Trek: Lower Decks on the small one. August is going to be a good month for Star Trek!

The Force is with us!

I know!! I love little stuff like this. I’m so pumped to see a 35 year old movie in a theater lol. But between that and LDS back on and both starting around the same time feels so exciting now!

The month countdown to Lower Decks has begun!! New Star Trek again people, the wait is almost over!!!!

Sounds like fun!

Can anybody make out what the pile of action figures that they knock over in the mall are? Are they Data? I’ve tried freeze-framing it and still can’t make out who the figures represent.

That my best guess, but it is quite blurry to tell for sure.

I’m pretty sure they’re Datas… the skin tone on the blurry freeze-frame I managed to catch looked very Data-like.

So I got a good freeze frame and I don’t think they’re Data action figures….. I think they’re Data memorial holograms, like the Tasha Yar memorial hologram Data kept. They’re on a little base with a blue beam “casting” the image of Data up…. CLEVER!!!

Nope! They are figurines! It’s a firm blue base on it!

Who else noticed the two Daedalus class ships docked at the Starbase during the preview? I also noticed a Gorn and Antideans. NICE!

I did. First thing I did was freeze frame the space dock scene and start thinking about all of the shown ships.

Anyone find a non-geolocked version?

Usually non-geo locked versions can be found on the official Star Trek twitter account. It was posted there on July 12. Maybe Trekmovie staff could consider including the international versions from the official Star Trek twitter account into their articles on a routine basis? Cheers!

There have been plenty of streaming show updates the last week or so. I don’t spend a lot of time on sites that just speculate on the status of Trek, but I did seem to notice more banners then usual that were busy promoting stories that CBS is shutting the entirity of Trek down. Makes me wonder what’s wrong with these people, so desperate for click bait, that the most insane of chatter gets repackaged just to drive traffic….

The people promoting those stories (Discovery cancelled! Kurtzman fired! Again!) need to learn from Garak: “Never tell the same lie twice.”

Correct, most of those pages are full of it, just because we want it to be true doesn’t mean it is.

warning for gatekeeping. You don’t speak for all fans

This is faster than I can process. Makes me wonder if I should have been videogaming more

Why do they make the characters look so obnoxious?
