They discuss a recent podcast appearance from Scott Bakula about Enterprise (and a possible Quantum Leap revival), and talk about Tony’s interviews with Lower Decks creator Mike McMahan and guest star Jeffrey Combs, which leads them into their enthusiastic review of episode 207, “Where Pleasant Fountains Lie.”. Even with its 9/11 influences, I always found Enterprise to be one of the more optimistic Trek shows. The Xindi arc, which was their biggest 9/11 parable, ended with Archer making peace with the Xindi and persuading them that they were wrong to attack Earth. That’s a very Star Trek kind of message. Dark things happened on Enterprise all the time, but the crew always showed that they were at their best when they stuck to Starfleet ideals.

Totally agree. I did a complete series re-watch last year and you are spot on.
