Watch: Sneak Peek At ‘Star Trek: Lower Decks’ Upcoming Episode “Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus”

At today’s Star Trek Day event, Lower Decks cast members Tawny Newsome (Mariner) and Noël Wells (Tendi) introduced a sneak peek of an upcoming episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks, “Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus,” which will be available to stream on Thursday October 13th on Paramount+ in the US.

It’s the Wayfarer!

The clip shows a scene from Boimler’s holodeck movie sequel, which tries its best to live up to the original as seen in season 1. Take a look.

International viewers can view on StarTrek.com

The clip depicts an intense battle between the Romulans and the Cerritos. The Romulans steal some kind of crystalline “device” and begin destroying the Cerritos. Just before Captain Freeman can make the call to abandon ship, another Starfleet vessel shows up to save the day. In a nice homage to the arrival of the Enterprise in the opening sequence of Star Trek: First Contact, the Wayfarer enters the scene captained by Captain Bucephalus Dagger, played of course by Boimler.

The USS Wayfarer comes to the rescue.

The third season of Star Trek: Lower Decks returned on Thursday, August 25, with new episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays, and streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Latin America and is distributed concurrently by Paramount Global Content Distribution on Amazon Prime Video in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Japan, India and more and in Canada, airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi Channel and streams on Crave.

Guess Boimler decided to be more involved in this season’s movie.

Bucephalus???!!!
Greek for “HORSE HEAD🐴”???!!!!

Alexander’s horse, not just any horse.

“Tough little ship”

I was expecting a humorous robot or floating cube with four pips…

This episode looks like it will be amazing but I wish we got a sneak peek of the DS9 episode instead!

Saaame! I am starved for some DS9 love. But at least with LDS I won’t be bored while I’m waiting! XD
