Tomorrow the ongoing Star Trek: Defiant series from IDW wraps up the “Another Piece of the Action” arc inspired by Mission: Impossible with Worf leading a “disavowed” team of off-the-books agents. The Defiant series is written by Chris Cantwell (Iron Man, Namor, Star Wars: Obi-Wan) with art by Mike Feehan (Star Trek, DC’s Exit Stage Left: The Snagglepuss Chronicles). We have a preview and the covers for issue 11.

who else read it as “LOTION MOBSTER”
Honestly, I did and I thought he was selling lotions or something.
Yep!
+l
I didn’t even see that. Flat out thought it read, “Lotion Monster” and wondered what on Earth the comics authors have been getting away with lately.
I misread it as Lobster! Wondered if a Futurama/Zoidberg crossover was happening.
This comic has been fun. I just wish the art was better.
Considering that the Ferengi and the Orions exist, the Iotions would fit right in, though I missed the implication that 24th century Iotions would look like 23rd century classic Trek!
Orion! Play dom-jot, Orion.
Orion play dom-jot. Give you a better chance. Give you a bigger stick maybe.
I still can’t believe they have Spock serving under Worf. The strange fanfic wankery in these stories is quite something.
