Lagrange Point….. anyone else have a little ZZ Top pop into their head?
Have mercy….
they gotta lota nice orbits there
Lord Have mercy, Ohh My….had to do a Google search on this one…. Maybe they reach the ‘Progenitors’ special place in the Galaxy where they create life!!
“ZZ Top’s song “La Grange” is about a brothel outside of La Grange, Texas, also known as the Chicken Ranch. The brothel was open from 1905 to 1973, and the song’s release coincided with its closing. The song’s lyrics capture Texas lore and reflect the band’s Texan roots, while also playing into the era’s rock ‘n’ roll themes of rebellion and hedonism. The song’s refrain, consisting of a series of “A-haw, haw, haw, haw,” adds to the song’s playful and somewhat mischievous tone.”
Ok, please google lagrange point. Nothing to do with zz top. Lagrange was a mathematician. There are many other places and people with the name, no doubt….and all unrelated.
LOL
just having some fun! I didn’t google ‘Lagrange’ the mathematician and instead googled ‘La Grange. ZZ Top’.
I know….Sex and natural reproduction is likely obsolete in 32nd century Disco era….children are spawned in replicators/ growth chambers instead of nasty sweat induced 9-wasted months of manual labor (for man or woman hosting) and doing math to save the universe is more of a thrill than doing the nasty.
So many randos on the bridge.
Yay! Saru is back!
Finally! I’ve missed him so much!
Sad that many of the main cast has been absent this final season :(
Probably had the chance to leave to book more gigs.
They didn’t know it was the final season until months later.
The Breen look like they’re about to drop some mean beats!
Daft Punk…
They do a killer cover of the Jello theme song.
This is hardly the most thought-provoking comment, but it’s weird how the last three episodes of the series all start with “L.”
SARU!! How I’ve missed you. One of my all time favourite Trek characters.
Well good to see both Saru and President Rillak finally back but honestly I’m just waiting for the season to be over now. I am hoping the last two episodes will go out with a bang, but at this point I’m more excited to hear when Netflix will finally premiere season 2 of Prodigy. I really want to know what the Doctor has been up to since leaving Voyager. It’s nearly June Netflix, let’s hear something already. (Sorry been rewatching season one today lol).
But Frakes is directing this one, so that’s good news at least! :)
For some reason I keep thinking Prodigy will be a Christmas release.
Kahless I hope not but yeah you could be right. I was hoping by the summer the latest. These long waits between seasons are just getting ridiculous.
Kahless sounds very much like a favorite expletive used by us foul-mouthed French Canadians, and you used it in the exactly proper context. The word I’m thinking of would be spelled phonetically as Kahliss…
