2 Star Trek comics nominated for Eisner Awards
The 2024 nominees for the Eisner Awards have been announced and 2 of IDW’s Star Trek comics were nominated, along with other 11 nominations for the publisher. Star Trek: Day of Blood – Shaxs’ Best Day was nominated for Best Single Issue/One-Shot, and the ongoing Star Trek series was nominated for Best Coloring. “I’m incredibly proud of all of our nominees and all of the hardworking people behind the scenes at IDW who helped make all these books happen,” said IDW Publisher Mark Doyle in a statement. “The only people more passionate than comic fans are the hardworking people who tell all of these amazing stories. The Eisners represent the best of the best on one special night where we all celebrate their hard work and talent, so it’s a thrill to be a part of this. These comics and graphic novels show the wide spectrum of stories and talent that IDW Publishing has to offer, and it’s an honor to be included among all of these terrific nominees!” The winners will be revealed during the Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards at Comic-Con International on July 26.

The first volume of the series collecting the first five issues is available at Amazon in hardcover for $23.99 and Kindle ebook for $7.70. The “Day of Blood” crossover event with Defiant and the ongoing Star Trek series was released in March and is available at Amazon in hardcover for $27.99 and Kindle ebook for $9.40.
