The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks arrives on Paramount+ later this year. If you want to see where it all started for free, you can watch the full first season on YouTube in the USA.
Free Lower Decks
The animated adult comedy Star Trek: Lower Decks premiered in the summer of 2020. It introduced the crew of the USS Cerritos, one of the “least important ships in Starfleet,” along with its crew including four lovable “lower deckers.” This morning Paramount+ posted the entire first season on YouTube, no subscription required. TrekMovie has assembled all 10 episodes into a convenient playlist which you can also watch below.
It is not known how long the episodes will be available for free. Previous Paramount+ promotions were available for a couple of weeks to a month.
The fifth and final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks is set to arrive on Paramount+ later in 2024, but the streaming service has not yet set a release date.

First! How cool is this! LDS is my favorite ‘current’ Trek (followed closely by SNW). The show is goofy and over-the-top but the HEART is there and the characters are SO likeable. Worf’s Honor!
I hope this means Paramount is ramping up promotion for Season 5 early, and not waiting until SDCC.
There’s a lot that will be sucking up the bandwidth that weekend – the rest of Comic Con itself, Deadpool & Wolverine, and…oh yeah…the opening of the Paris Olympics.
Launching the promotion for Lower Decks’ final season that weekend risks it getting lost in the shuffle.
Of course, Paramount may not care at all about giving Lower Decks a bigger push for its finale. If that’s the case, then this is all moot.
Absolutely love this show!!! First thing I loved since Enterprise and my favorite NuTrek show (but basically tied with Prodigy).
