Anthony and Laurie couldn’t record this week, but we still wanted you to have something fun to listen to, so here is Laurie‘s recent interview with Kate Mulgrew and Tony’s with Wil Wheaton. Both talk about their roles in Star Trek: Prodigy and what it would take for them to return to live-action Star Trek as Admiral Janeway and Traveler Wesley. Enjoy!

No bits of the week – Bloomberg is reporting another offer may be coming in for Paramount in the “go shop” widow…
If/when the Bronfman group makes an official bid it will be covered. They have 5 days to get in under the wire
We’ll know in the next forty eight hours. Paramount has indicated they extend the go shop period if Bronfman tenders a bid.
Nothing’s ever easy, is it?
Definitely not easy. Bronfman’s bid is for NAI.
Stay tuned …
This is just a question but was there nothing noteworthy about the LV convention last weekend? I’m just a little surprised not a single article has been written about any of the panels or just the convention in general. There were several made about the cruise earlier this year.
Laurie for example seemed very excited about the Generations movie celebrating the 30th anniversary this year and the filmmakers attending to discuss it. So I assumed we would get a report about that one but nothing.
Just curious.
It’s coming, folks are just catching up with real life after the convention.
OK cool. Thanks for the heads up.
Anything coming soon from Galaxy Con in San Jose, CA this past weekend?
And sadly, I missed that panel! I think it was at the same time as one I was actually on. I’m looking forward to the Treksperts releasing all of their panels as podcast episodes. (I did go to a great one with writers from across the franchise, though.)
Oh wow sorry to hear that Laurie. :(
Your excitement got me excited lol and Generations is far from my favorite movie. But oddly enough there has been no report about it anywhere, at least all the sites I spend time on and several were at the convention aa well.
As far as not having any articles about the convention in general of course I understand. But I just wasn’t sure if any were being made since no one said anything or maybe I just missed it.
That writers panel also sounds great and I know Ron D. Moore was there.
They’ll release it as a podcast for sure. The writers panel I went to didn’t have Ron Moore on it… I missed ALL his panels and was not happy about it. Anyway,we will definitely talk about it all on the podcast. It was just a lot busier than usual, with more offering and more schedule clashes.
That says a lot about Generations if it took thirty years for someone to get excited about it…..
Live long and prosper, Gloria!
This was a great listen, many thanks to all. 😊
