Does somebody know how many “pages” this issue has?
So, Patton Oswalt as a co-author? That’s quite a get.
It is. Alas, his tribble story posted above is one of the worst Star Trek stories I’ve ever had the displeasure of reading.
Well, too bad. I was thinking that if you wanted to tell a comedic love story from an unusual perspective in the Trek universe, the besotted Enterprise computer in “Tomorrow is Yesterday” might have been a productive place to start.
As George Takei would say, “His luscious lumps…” Oh my!
Is there some sublimation or subtext going on there?
This sounds fun!
…and then I read the comic. And it’s not, in fact, fun.
This tribbles story is….. terrible!!! What the hack?
I did enjoy Year Five and I am eager to get into the new ongoing and defiant runs. but this is bad example for the stories in this issue I hope :D
Where the frak is Archer or any of the NX-01 crew? Bad form.
No offense, but I don’t believe that the artist captured the likeness of young William Shatner as James T. Kirk. I honestly believe that the artists and stories of DC comics line of classic Star Trek comics were superior than the stuff coming out of IDW, which reads more like bad fan fantasy stories.
I liked the tribble story ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The Lower Decks story disappointed me though.
