Once again, Star Trek has intersected with game shows: Five Trek stars were contestants on Monday’s edition of Celebrity Family Feud. You can see them taking taking on the stars of the reality series The Deadliest Catch.
Trek on the Feud
On Monday’s episode of Celebrity Family Feud, host Steve Harvey welcomed Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green and Wilson Cruz, Strange New Worlds star Celia Rose Gooding, Lower Decks star Dawnn Lewis, and Star Trek: The Next Generation‘s Wil Wheaton. all representing the Star Trek Universe. They faced off against a selection of captains from the Discovery reality series Deadliest Catch: Sig Hansen, Keith Colburn, Jake Anderson, “Wild” Bill Wichrowski, and Jonathan Hillstrand.
You can watch a clip below of the Trek team taking on “7 things Grandma wants to replace Grandpa with.”
The Trek celebs were playing for the New Day Foundation charity.
The full episode is now available to stream on Hulu.
Trek onΒ Jeopardy!
This isn’t the only recent Trek moment on game shows. Last week “What is Star Trek?” was the question for a clue on the long-running series Jeopardy! You can see the clue as shared by series creator Mike McMahan below.

This is very cool, but I would like to see casts from different shows face off. Like TNG cast vs DS9 cast, etc.
But it is always good when Star Trek gets more exposure.
They were robbed!
Love LOVE Steve Harvey and Family Feud!!!! This is great!
I’m glad we can watch the whole episode now. I only caught a portion of it live on TV and what little I got seemed like a lot of fun.
Wow a Lower Decks entry was part of Jeopardy last week?? Trek is feeling mainstream again. :)
HAHA nice!!!!!!!!!
Wheaton sucks at this game and Steve Harvey needs to guest star on Trek.
It’s a bit crazy realizing Wil Wheaton has now shown up in three of the new shows while never appearing in any of the older ones outside TNG of course. He’s becoming the next Johnathan Frakes.
