This week IDW releases the penultimate issue of the “The Stars of Home” arc for the ongoing Star Trek: Defiant series. Defiant is written by Chris Cantwell with art by Ángel Unzueta. We have a preview and the covers for issue 19.

Synopsis: 

The Romulans are descending on Antara, and Worf must lead his militia to victory against the warship Ran’Kara. When the battle turns against the Antarans, Worf is forced into a duel with one of the best Romulan fighters ever seen: Maiek. Has the battle already been lost, or will Maiek finally meet the edge of Worf’s bat’leth?

These comics have actually be really excellent!

Since the current batch of comics have been excellent, I have no idea what you’re trying to say.

So, wait, was this before or after he unintentionally vaporized the Cardassian?

Shhhhhh, don’t let the soulless minions of orthodoxy hear you complaining of the reworking of celebrated canon.

This shouldn’t be a sidestory in a crappy comic series. O’Brien recalling events during the first Federation/Cardassian War should be it’s own series.
