“Of Gods and Angles”
The sixth episode of season 5 is titled “Of Gods and Angles” (and no, that is not a typo). The episode was written by Keyshawn C. Garraway and directed by Brandon Williams. It arrives on Paramount+ on Thursday, November 21.

last week’s was just ok, hopefully they’ll finish strong with the last couple episodes. i’m expecting / calling it, Riker will be in the season finale btw lol
I really didn’t like the last episode. Starbase 80 was too cartoony and I couldn’t accept it as a real place that exists in the Star Trek universe outside Lower Decks.
After the wall-licking in last episode and now the “angles” (if that’s not a typo), are we to suspect Good Omens references now coming in? They’ve referenced other series before.
For those who have not watched it, Good Omens has a “Do not lick the walls” sign in Hell (aka the worst workplace ever – which would mean Starbase 80 has worse working place standards than Hell), and a “surrender the angle” misspelling.
The laurel’s in that series too
IMDB says the episode is called “Of Gods and Angels”
I saw that somewhere else too, but went with the content in this article because it would be more in line with a Lower Decks episode title? But of course you’re right, it could just have gotten mixed up in this blog
It could also be wrong on IMDB. I guess we’ll know on Thursday.
And I guess it could also be other kinds of references, apparently wall licking is a thing in other cartoons, too like Spongebob, Sonic Boom.. The GO “Do not lick the walls” demotivational office poster would just fit in with the “workplace from hell” theme of Starbase 80 so well, if it was a reference. Suppose one could only tell when asking the writers..
