Star Trek: Defiant #21

Synopsis:

Spock and Sela are trapped in the belly of the Romulan warbird Taredrix and General Revo’s coup. The three of them are the only living souls who know of the impending Romulan supernova. With Revo offering Sela the choice between death or a seat at the head of the empire itself, Spock will learn the answer to the question of what drives the universe ever forward: sheer willpower or blood? Meanwhile, it’s up to Worf, B’Elanna, and Ro to save the pastoral planet Antara from the hostile Romulans seeking to take it as their own.

The art looks quite good. Not so enamored with the dialogue.

Hmmm. Sela never really interested me as a character — she just seemed like a soap opera gimmick to get Denise Crosby back.

Ah yes, the Star Trek I know and love ;-)

This particular line of comics seems really off to me. I just can’t relate to it, but I do like the artwork.

I really enjoyed the Star Trek: Picard novel that explored the evacuation effort on Romulus. It explored the political ramifications very well.

Oh my these look bad but in an entertaining way! I do hope we get a line to the effect of “Jolan tru, Mother******!”
