I thought he was dead…

STO has been it’s own universe from the start, I believe! They’ll often bring back characters that otherwise can’t be used anymore canonically.

Yeah. The game often reflects canon events, but isn’t tied to the Prime timeline.

It started tied into the whole Romulan supernova plot from ST09 and then charted out the history of the Prime Timeline through 2409. The events that took place in the game were nebulously canon (simply due to a lack of any other canon content past the events of Nemesis) until Picard premiered and obviously began contradicting the events and history of the game. It’s now it’s own timeline that, ironically, branches off when Spock and Nero go back in time after stopping the supernova.

They did attempt to alter things when Picard Season 1 started. Icheb went from standing by a wall to vanishing in a matter of days but it seems like they completely gave up

Hugh, unvoiced, also used to lead the Cooperative, so this good be another timeline Hugh. The current arc already involves Borg from 3 different universe.

It’s also possible this is a different timeline Hugh. The arc has already included Mirror Harry Kim and an alternate Sela who commands the Enterprise for the Iconia. Alliance.

yeah me too how…. maybe his nanites healed him? eeh let time say right till the release

I still say STO will end one day and the final cut scene will be a couple of kids walking out of a holodeck at Quarks after playing the “Be a hero captain” program. It would help exp-lain why Star fleet captains are funding their own equipment and ships if it’s a Ferengi program.

One thing I will say about STO is that their TOS-25th century Starfleet ships are nice. Although I do dislike the black & white colour scheme they introduced. I much prefer the Starfleet grey.

They did him dirty in Picard S1…
