A brand new season of Star Trek Online just launched, which sees the return of the Borg along with Star Trek: The Next Generation and Picard guest star Jonathan Del Arco as Hugh.

This morning Arc Games and DECA Games launched Star Trek Online: Unveiled, the 33rd season of their long-running free-to-play Star Trek MMORPG on PC. Starting today, PC players can uncover the truths of “the Harmony” in the new featured episode “Axiom,” participate in a 15th Anniversary event, and more. Console players will get access to : Unveiled on PlayStation and Xbox on March 11, 2025.

Unveiled story synopsis
In Star Trek Online: Unveiled, a new and far more sinister Borg incursion is taking place in the Ram Izad system. While responding to a request for help from Hugh, renowned Cooperative Borg Faction Leader and Executive Director of the Reclamation Project, players will discover the damaged and seemingly abandoned ship of Aetherian leader, Thaseen-Fei, in the Delta Quadrant. Mounting a search-and-rescue mission, the Players must reunite with familiar faces in order to uncover the truth about what went wrong aboard the Harmony!

So this new “Addon” is one new mission and an event which seems to be a collection of old ones to earn some sort of currency? And of course a lot of new things to buy.
I think its time to end this shame.
The “currency” as you call it, is just to make progress towards a Tier 6 ship called the Garrett Alliance Dreadnought Cruiser, the 5th starship overall for a fleet from a coalition between the Federation, Klingons, Romulan Republic & Dominion, called the Khitomer Alliance.
Ahh, the most easily defeatable enemy returns!

Somehow, Hugh has returned.
I think this happens before the Picards set up the Borg assimilating all the young Starfleet officers while the Ent-F is still in service.
I thought it was a real shame that Hugh was killed off in Picard season 1.
He was such a popular character. I wish they had made some role for him in the ST universe.
I thought that was a bad call.
This was a pretty easy episode to crack.
Started replaying this on my PC the other day but while playing the Ron Jones ST:TNG soundtrack collection via Spotify.
Actually a pretty cool experience.
