The 81st Academy Awards were held tonight, and Star Trek was all over the place, albeit indirectly. For starters, a few Trek alumni walked home with a golden statuette. The new Star Trek movie has yet another logo, lets hope this one is going to stick. Just this evening Paramount released a new logo image, which will presumably make its big screen debut on the new theatrical trailer coming with the Watchmen movie in exactly two weeks. The 2009 Toy Fair has already revealed a bounty of Trek goodies from Diamond Select Toys (see previous story). But DST have shown two more items that will be joining their 2009 line: toy ship versions of the USS Excelsior and USS Enterprise B.
