As reported before, the April issue of UK’s at Total Film Magazine went on sale this week, with four collectible Star Trek covers. In addition to the exclusive images (see previous article), Total Film also has interview comments from director JJ Abrams and some of the film stars. MTV Shows Behind-The-Scenes Star Trek ‘Featurette’ [UPDATED: w/ Kelvin Bridge Shot?]

On tonight’s MTV Spoilers show there were previews and exclusive peeks from a number of Summer tent pole movies, including the new Star Trek film. However the Trek ‘featurette’ was comprised mostly of previously seen clips combined with new ‘behind the scenes’ footage  and new actor interview clips, focusing on director JJ Abrams, check it out below. THR Profiles Trek’s Big Return w/ Trailer Details + Comments from Orci & Kurtzman

Official ST09 Site Update: Check Out New ‘Panoramas’ Inside The New USS Enterprise

The official site for the new Star Trek movie has just added a brand new ‘PANORAMA’ feature that gives you interactive 360 degree views of sections of the USS Enterprise. As of now you can choose to get a close look at two different corridors on the ship, including ‘zoom in’ on various control panels, details and screen shots below.

Paramount To Show Star Trek ‘Sneak Peek’ At WonderCon

They skipped San Diego Comic Con last summer and New York Comic Con last week, but Paramount is bringing a Star Trek panel to WonderCon in San Francisco in just over two weeks. Today the full schedule for WonderCon was announced and included is a ‘sneak peek’ and a ‘special guest’ from the new Star Trek movie. There are other Trek related panels as well, including one with yours truly.

Tyler Perry On His Role In Star Trek & Being Directed By JJ Abrams

One of the more surprising castings in the new Star Trek movie is Tyler Perry, who has a couple of scenes in the film. Perry is best known as the producer, writer, director and star of his own films and TV shows, and Star Trek is actually the first film he has appeared in that he didn’t direct. Star Trek Guide To NY Comic Con 2009

Today is day one for New York Comic Con. Although not as massive as the Summer Comic Con in San Diego, this is still a big event. Nana Visitor and Robert Hewitt Wolfe Talk DS9 and Mirror Universe In Latest Star Trek Magazine

The latest issue of the official Star Trek Magazine (#15), has a focus on the Mirror Universe. The series that spent the most time in the MU is Star Trek Deep Space Nine so the issue (on newsstands now) has two DS9 interviews to dive into the other side of the Mirror. Watch ‘Wrath Of Khan – The Opera’ (via Robot Chicken)

Did you ever think Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan would make a good opera? Well the folks behind the action-figure stop-motion animation comedy show Robot Chicken on Cartoon Network have us convinced. On the episode "Two Weeks Without Food" airing this weekend, they showed us just how awesome Khan Opera could be. See video of that, plus past Robot Treks, below.
