There are new images and crew information, an amazing tour of the bridge of the USS Enterprise and a closer look at all those artist models. See below for a breakdown. Do you like to Rock? If so, then we have news for you. Today Paramount and MTV Games announced a promotional partnership for the new Star Trek movie and the popular rockin’ videogame Rock Band. The promotion kicks off today and will include music track giveaways, an in-game Star Trek themed battle of the bands and a futuristic avatar contest. You can even win your own personal screening of Star Trek. [and no this is not a April fool’s joke]
After a long dry spell, fans of Star Trek games have a lot to look forward to in the next year. In May Paramount is releasing the Star Trek movie themed game Star Trek DAC, and hopefully less than a year later Cryptic comes out with their Star Trek Online MMORPG. Today we have updates on both of these titles.
The movie industry’s big trade show ‘ShoWest’ kicked off this week in Las Vegas and Paramount is showing off some new Star Trek ‘character’ posters. Plus TrekMovie has got a hold of the final Italian Star Trek poster.

Today, Leonard Nimoy is 78. His thoughtfulness and dedication to his art is a big reason for the popularity of Spock. He has entertained Star Trek fans for more than 40 years, creating a cultural icon with a character we are all delighted to see again on the big screen this year. However, his career is more than Spock, starting nearly 60 years ago. TrekMovie sends its best wishes to Leonard on his birthday with this collection of some of his performances during his many decades as an entertainer.
This Sunday FOX airs the Family Guy episode “Not All Dogs Go to Heaven" featuring all the stars of The Next Generation playing themselves.
