Besides the Star Trek movie going into production later this month, the other big project going on these days is the transformation of Star Trek: The Next Generation into HD. CBS Home Entertainment has officially announced that Star Trek: The Next Generation will be available in high-definition for the first time ever on January 31, 2012.
