PHOTOS: Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Anton Yelchin & John Cho At GQ Men Of The Year Party

In two months the new stars of Star Trek will be getting back together to shoot the sequel, but last night (Thursday) most of Trek’s new leading men were together at GQ’s Men of the Year 2011 party. On hand at the LA event were Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Anton Yelchin and John Cho. Check out the photos below, plus photos of Zoe Saldana at another LA event from this week.

The Spike Scream Awards which aired Tuesday night featured a few of Star Trek’s new luminaries, including Zoe Saldana who presented the Best Sci-Fi Movie to JJ Abrams (for Super 8). William Shatner’s ‘The Captains’ Showing At Canadian Theatres Thursday + Canada TV Next Week

If you are a Canadian and feel left out of all the fun with William Shatner’s new Star Trek documentary The Captains, now you are in luck. The Captains will be showing on movie theaters across Canada tomorrow (Thursday) and will also be showing on Canadian TV next week. See below for details.

Bill spoke about "Beam Me Up" with GMA, the economy and Gold with the Wall Street Journal webcast, the Takei feud with Nightline, dilithium with Fox, and he even hangs with the ladies of The View. Star Trek Burlesque Shows In NYC (Friday), Milwaukee (Saturday), Toronto (Sunday), & Chicago (September)

If you are an adult and like to mix risqué performances with your nerd passions, then there is some good news for residents of NYC, Chicago, Milwaukee and Toronto.  Summer is coming to an end and apparently that means it is the season for Star Trek Burlesque. Today is the birthday of Chris Pine. Star Trek’s new Captain Kirk is turned 31. All of us here at TrekMovie would like to wish the new Captain a Happy Birthday. Anthon Yelchin Still Waiting For Star Trek Sequel Call + Talks Comparisons With Koenig’s Chekov

Anthon Yelchin has been keeping busy since appearing as Chekov in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek. He voices "Clumsy" in the new Smurfs movie and stars in the vampire film Fright Night opening on Friday. In a new interview promoting the film, Yelchin says that he doesn’t know when he will be needed to return to the bridge of the USS Enterprise, but he is ready to go when called. He also talked about comparisons to Walter Koenig.
