According to a new report, Paramount Pictures has shuffled their production schedule and moved the shoot for their planned Jack Ryan reboot (starring Chris Pine) into 2012. Today the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced their 2010 invitees and on the list were seven members of the Star Trek team, including Zoe Saldana, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman.
Tonight The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films held their 36th Annual Saturn Awards. The 2009 Star Trek movie went into the night with 6 nominations, but it was Avatar that dominated, picking up ten awards. Star Trek picked up one Saturn, as did including Leonard Nimoy (for Fringe). Star Trek writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman also picked up a special award.

Tonight the Jameson Empire Film Awards were held in London. Star Trek went in to the event nominated for three awards and walked away the winner of Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film.
