On Tuesday Paramount released a few new Star Trek Into Darkness TV spots, a handful of new images and they also announced a special Google+ Hangout with NASA, JJ Abrams and astronauts on the International Space Station. Get caught up on all of that below.
TrekMovie has partnered up with movie-ticketing site Fandango to do a survey of early ticket buyers for Star Trek Into Darkness, giving some interesting insights into how people plan to see the movie and what they think of the secrecy. Star Trek Into Darkness had a limited international opening this weekend in seven markets and the first box office figures are very encouraging. The film brought in almost $32M, and more importantly it is outperforming the opening of the 2009 Star Trek movie in each country.
