Atari Releases Season 2 Of Star Trek Online + Lower Price + New Trailer

As noted in yesterday’s exclusive interview with executive producer Daniel Stahl, Atari/Cryptic has today released Season 2 for Star Trek Online, their biggest update since launch in February. They have also set a new lower price for the game at $19.99 (including first month subscription) and released a brand new trailer. See below for all the details.

Today German game maker Gameforge announced they have signed a worldwide licensing agreement to publish free-to-play casual browser games based the Star Trek franchise. New Mortal Kombat Viral Video Features Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade [UPDATED]

Today a mysterious new shot film tied into the Mortal Kombat video game franchise was released. Titled "Mortal Kombat Rebirth", it isn’t clear if this is related to a new video game, or to a possible Mortal Kombat film. Leonard Nimoy Providing Voice For Kingdom Hearts PSP Game + Preview

According to Leonard Nimoy, his last appearance as an actor will be this Thursday on the season finale of Fox’s Fringe, but that will actually not his last performance to be released. It has been announced that Mr. Nimoy has added his voice to the next installment in Disney’s popular Kingdom Hearts series for PSP. More details and a preview featuring Nimoy below. 







Console Version Of Star Trek Online Put On ‘Back Burner’

Before the MMORPG Star Trek Online was released on PC, members of the Cryptic team had confirmed the game would eventually also be developed for at least one of the gaming consoles (XBox 360 and/or Playstation 3). However, not it appears that this will not happen, or at least no happen any time soon. STO’s executive producer has now confirmed that a console version is ‘on the back burner.’
