Wil Wheaton Returning To Big Bang Theory

CBS hit show Big Bang Theory is firmly established as the nerdiest comedy on TV. The show about a group of Cal Tech scientists is rife with sci-fi references, and early this season they hit an apex when Star Trek The Next Generation’s Wil Wheaton appeared (playing a rather evil version himself) taking on the shows breakout character Sheldon. Now comes news that Sheldon’s nemesis is coming back.




Jonathan Frakes Directing Episode of ‘V’ + More Frakes Updates

TNG’s Riker, Jonathan Frakes is one of the Star Trek actors who got on the job training as a director during his time with Trek, which led to him directing two Trek feature films. Frakes continues to direct for film and TV, and now comes news that he will once again be directing aliens. Frakes is slated to direct an upcoming episode of the ABC sci-fi remake V. Rod Roddenberry Wants Brent Spiner To Be New ‘Questor’ Android

Three weeks ago it was announced that Roddenberry Productions had entered into a deal with Imagine Entertainment to create a new pilot based on Gene Roddenberry’s "The Questor Tapes." A big question is: who should play the android at the heart of the show? If it were up to Rod Roddenberry, the new Questor would be played by Trek’s favorite android, Brent Spiner.



UPDATED: Patrick Stewart Doesn’t Tweet and Isn’t In Mad Max 4

[UPDATED] The rumor over the weekend was that Sir Patrick Stewart may be rejoining his Nemesis pal Tom Hardy for Mad Max 4, but it turns out that it isn’t true. Oh well, Stewart will be appearing in tonight’s Frontline Special "Digital Nation", and you can watch a clip of him below talking technology where he balks at Twitter, but expresses love for his iPhone.

Fan Loses Suit Against CBS & Christie’s Over Auctioned Cmdr. Data Memorabilia [UPDATE]

Two years ago a Star Trek fan sued Christie’s auction house and CBS claiming that a visor that he purchased at auction was falsely attributed as one worn by Brent Spiner on Star Trek The Next Generation.
