William Shatner still has it. The 85 year-old actor entertained fans in suburban Philadelphia for two-straight hours in the most recent return of his self-titled tour that covered his life and career. It’s “Shatner’s World”, we just live in it.

Just announced today, Sir Patrick Stewart has signed on to appear at Chicago Comic Con on August 24th – completing their line-up for a full Star Trek: The Next Generation reunion. It is the beginning of spring here in the Western Hemisphere, which means it’s time to celebrate the birthdays of Trek royalty. Today is the 83rd birthday of Spock Prime himself, Leonard Nimoy. Mr. Nimoy, who recently disclosed that he has a smoking-related illness called COPD isn’t letting anything slow him down. It was announced recently that he will be hosting two special “space-themed” performances by the Boston Pops in May, featuring music from many science fiction classics, including, of course, Star Trek.
