Star Trek: Short Treks
Season 1: 4 episodes – starting in October 2018, one a month, leading up to the debut of Discovery season 2 in January 2019.
Short Treks is a series of mini-episodes set in and around the universe established in Star Trek: Discovery.
NOTE: Episodes are released monthly.
All episodes are available exclusively on the CBS All Access streaming service.
New episodes will be available on-demand weekly on Thursdays at 6:30PM PT/9:30PM ET exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers in the U.S.

Episodes air on Space at 9:00 PM ET on Thursday.
The CraveTV streaming service will make episodes available 24-hours after they air on Space.
Every episode will also be available to Space subscribers on the Space GO app, in addition to being available on Space.ca and participating On Demand channels.

Being a spin off to Discovery, Netflix is the licensee, initially they decided to not carry Short Treks when they were being released monthly. All four of the first season of Short Treks were then added to Netflix on January 17, 2019, just before the premiere of the second season of parent series – Star Trek: Discovery.
