Glad to see Mr. Koenig get his star; it’s overdue by at least a decade. As for Ellison’s appearing at the event, he and Koenig have been friends for many years.

Congrats to Walter… I met him once at a convience store of all places… He could not have been kinder to the 17 year old Star Trek nerd (me) who went up and introduced himself. It would have been easy for him to just brush me off, but instead he took a couple of minutes to talk with me and at least seemed interested in what I had to say. He really left a great impression with me and my dad. So again, congrats Walter for this well deserved award.

April 12, 2012 6:57 pm

Bout time Bester got his star! Congrats Walter!!!

Thanks for a great write up Anthony. We look forward to seeing you at the event.

Chris Doohan – We are excited you will be joining us.

Walter has had a good career, it’s well deserved.

April 12, 2012 7:08 pm

Let me guess, Shat won’t be able to make it…

April 12, 2012 7:39 pm

Star Trek wouldn’t be Star Trek without Chekov, really. Congratulations.

April 12, 2012 7:44 pm

Walter definitely deserves his long-overdue Walk of Fame star. I think the original Star Trek cast would be the first cast to have both the Graumann’s Chinese Theater hand and foot prints and Hollywood Walk of Fame stars.

@27 He remains by fair the busiest of all the TOS cast, and besides, he could’ve easily said he was too busy for the video congratulation as well…..

This is very nice. I’m glad to see that he’s getting his due share of recognition for a job that was well-done by all. Now, the whole team is on the Walk Of Fame, and everything is as it should be. Go Chekov! :-)

April 13, 2012 7:01 am

Congrats Walter….you are the best….at least Shat didn’t say he didn’t really know you that well…LOL…
it was also really awesome to see all of those actors from TOS today like Michael Forest, Lawrence Montaigne, and Barbara Luna!

April 13, 2012 10:51 am

Walter was at his best in Mirror Mirror eposide. Looking to move up by killing the captain and then having to go into the chamber as punishment. My other favorite was when he was inflicted with space sickness in the Tholian Web…

did anyone say nuclear wessels…

Congrats Walter you so deserve it

I had the biggest crush on Walter when I first started watching ST (about 14 years ago), other girls my age were into Hanson and the Backstreet Boys, but I’ve always preferred older men. Anyway congrats Walter on finally getting the recognition you deserve.

When I saw Ms. Nichelle Nichols I was like “OK I will probably cry”. This was so wonderfully made and I’m glad to see all of the remainder of the original cast wishing Walter the best and congratulating him.

BTW Tim Russ is hilarious!!! (7:48).

Cool. I always thought Walter Koenig was the most down-to-earth cast member. Every interview I ever saw or read or heard with him was always so honest and genuine. Glad they’re giving him his star.

April 16, 2012 10:39 am

Wow…what did they trick Gary Graham to answer the door by telling him they were the Clearinghouse Sweepstakes people? Looked like he was in the middle of something…glad he could spare the time since he’s such a busy actor.

April 16, 2012 11:20 pm

Walter was great in Star Trek but he was amazing in Babylon 5.
Bester was his revenge,,,

Great sci-fi character. !!!
