Video of the Day: William Shatner’s Deep Fried Turkey PSA Autotuned

Its almost Thanksgiving so its time to start talking (or singing) Turkey. Last year we shared some PSAs with William Shatner on deep frying turkey safety. This year State Farm has reissued and remixed Shatner’s Turkey musings into an autotuned music video. Check it out below.

Dingle dangle.

Epic.

It’s as close to being able to sing as he’s ever going to get

Well, I don’t think Bill is coming over for Thanksgiving, so he should be fine. That, and my BIL is frying the bird in Henderson, 250 miles away…ll is well.

Have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!

His cooking capabilities became obvious in Star Trek : Generations, Lol:)

May everyone have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.
Let Shat be Shat.

XD modern software gives him a melody, finally!

the synthetic meatloaf has turned into real turkeys!…Charlie X

Hey #8. Here is a bit of Trivia on that.
The Chef that said there were real Turkey’s was none other then Gene Roddenberry himself. The only time he ever is heard in any of the Star Trek Shows. Charly X

Buy KFC !

:)

Is the intent of these turkey videos to induce laughter? Because they make me laugh bigtime!!! LOL!!

Oh my!… I love Mr. Shatner!

I thought Mr Shatner was a vegetarian? Or was that 30 or 40 years ago? Just curious…

Happy Thanksgiving you guys; from all of your friends in the UK

This man is a genius. He has reinvented himself a dozen times over. He is the cat with nine lives. He is William Catner!

I picked up an electric deep fryer for my turkey and it’s very safe. It has no flame, it uses a timer, it includes a basket, etc. I want a deep fried turkey…

Someone will edit that turkey video and put in some scenes of Evil Kirk from “The Enemy Within”…

“Jersey City and Jersey…Next week.”

Whatever THAT means. Mr. Shatner is always welcome in the Garden State!

#13 i think you are sort of right. William Shatner was a vegetarian and in fact made a documentary in the early 80’s extolling the virtues of the vegetarian diet. I guess he is no longer. People change. I have been a vegetarian as well, mainly on humanitarian grounds – I don’t like killing, however, I do think that most humans are natural omnivores and so actually need some flesh food in their diets.

There are people who can happily eat a completely *non-meat/poultry/fish diet and be very healthy individuals but they are the exception. I actually knew such a man. He grew up eating meat just like any other kiwi kid, however, when he became a teenager, he found he could not eat meat etc. It made him sick. He is a very healthy, fit vegetarian. He has two sons. Both were brought up eating meat. One son is now like him; the other just any other kiwi male who enjoys a good steak etc. Their mum is an omnivore, but who tends to be vegetarian most of the time because her husband is and not having meat (most of the time) does not bother her, healthwise or in any other way.

* eg Gujarati Jains of India.

We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving as such in NZ, but I wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving in the US and anywhere else where a similar celebration takes place at this time of the year.

Cool! Happy Thanksgiving, America!

Yes, but when are they going to add the autotune?
That’s just Shat’s usual delivery.

Welp, there’s the start for another Shatner album right there…

#18 thanks for the itel i was wondering about that myself

“It is the position of the American Dietetic Association that appropriately planned vegetarian diets, including total vegetarian or vegan diets, are healthful, nutritionally adequate, and may provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases. Well-planned vegetarian diets are appropriate for individuals during all stages of the life cycle, including pregnancy, lactation, infancy, childhood, and adolescence, and for athletes.”
