Long time friend of the site Paul “Spockboy” Sibbald has a great new goofy Trek video out. This time he’s made a mashup that celebrates two classic TV shows that turn 50 this year, Batman and of course Star Trek.
I remember a poster here called, “Spockboi” with and “i” — is this that dude?

Very nice!
Personally, I find myself pondering a world where two iconic shows premiered in 1966:
“Star Trek” starring Adam West as Capt. James T. Kirk
and
“Batman” starring William Shatner as the Caped Crusader

Well done indeed.
Two shows that I watched as a child on TV… I love that Batmobile version, all the other Batmobiles pale in comparison as far as I am concerned. My wife still rolls here eyes when I say “Atomic batteries to power, turbines to speed” when we start a drive to Las Vegas.

Nicely played, Boy Wonder!
Adam West and William Shatner, in character, on a stage somewhere would sell tickets. Lots of them.

Does anyone know why Paramount doesn’t have interest in promoting Star Trek – Beyond at the superbowl? Seems, they are advertising that turtles movie instead.
“If Paramount was going to push one of their upcoming franchise action movies, we thought it would have been Star Trek Beyond, but it turns out they’re going after the kids watching the game and pushing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows instead.”

Probably because TMNT needs the push and exposure, and Trek’s 50th anniversary will be all over the airwaves for the next six months.

That was absolutely fantastic!
Though the Enterprise smashing into an asteroid made me do a double take (and I had to rewind to make sure I actually saw what I though I had seen).
Incredible job!
