SkyShowtime, Paramount’s joint venture streaming service with Comcast covering the half of Europe without Paramount+, launched today across a number of markets in Central and Eastern Europe, and it will finish its Europe rollout at the end of the month with a launch in Spain. This service includes Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Prodigy.
SkyShowtime bringing original Star Trek to the rest of Europe
Today, SkyShowtime launched in Albania, Czechia, Hungary, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, and Slovakia. The launch of the service in Spain and Andorra on February 28 will complete SkyShowtime’s roll-out. The streaming service is already available in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, Portugal, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia.

SkyShowtime is a joint venture between Comcast and Paramount Global, offering a selection of movies, shows, and original series from Paramount Pictures, Dreamworks, Showtime, Paramount+, Sky, Universal Pictures, and Peacock. This includes Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Prodigy. In the European markets without Paramount+ (available in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy), SkyShowtime is the only way to watch Prodigy and Strange New Worlds. Unfortunately, as of now, SkyShowtime does not offer Discovery. The service does include all seven seasons of The Next Generation and a selection of Star Trek movies. Lower Decks and Picard is available in many of these European markets on Amazon Prime Video.

Subscribed immediately (Macedonia), but Prodigy is nowhere to be found. SNW and TNG are on, as well as all movies except for TFF.
It is available in other locations but there are variations country by country. It’s possible that there is a delay in some markets while they get the audio dub finished. That also delayed the release in Germany.

Could be. It would be appreciated if you get any update on this. Prodigy was the main reason to add this streamer in our household.
So the audio dub could be the reason Prodigy has only 9 episodes in The Netherlands…?
it seems skyshowtime is counting the 2-part season premiere as a single episode when it is actually 2 episodes. So 9 is actually 10

Paramount + switched to skyshowtime about 5mths ago here in Finland. Discovery Didn’t move over. Strange new worlds is on it and tng .The first season of prodigy also. Doesnt seem very promising, since everything that was on paramount+ isn’t available.
